GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

My general duty is to participate as a research team member with Drs. Siegel, Nelson, and Maritorena working on the interpretation of in-situ ocean color data.

My specific responsibilities include:
1) The processing of incoming ocean optical data
2) The collection of additional ocean color data from SeaBASS and other institutions outside of UCSB
2) The performance of QA/QC measures for the various data sets
3) The maintenance of the ocean color database
4) Acting as the 'Data Librarian' for the Ocean Color Group
